Where to Check Saudi Prayer Times and Find a Mosque
Find the right source for today’s timetable and mosque search, and understand Tools’ estimate.
Start with today’s date and your city
Fajr, sunrise, Dhuhr, Asr, Maghrib and Isha vary by day and location. A fixed monthly list or another city’s clock times cannot serve as today’s schedule. Open the Umm Al-Qura prayer-times page and select your city and date within that source. The Riyadh link is an entry point, not a claim that Riyadh times apply elsewhere.
How can I find a nearby mosque?
The Saudi Ministry of Islamic Affairs Mosques Platform offers mosque search across the Kingdom. Check the mosque name, location and current access information there before travelling. This guide does not read your device location or claim to identify your nearest mosque automatically. Outside Saudi Arabia, use your local mosque authority.
Official timetable or astronomical estimate?
Zayenha Tools has an educational astronomical estimate based on coordinates, date and a UTC offset you select. It uses specified angles and does not implement every local timetable rule or authority adjustment; it may differ from mosque times. Use an approved local timetable when timing matters. The separate simple daylight illustration is not a prayer schedule.
Common checks before comparing times
Check the city, date and local clock. Travel may change the UTC offset, and daylight saving rules vary outside Saudi Arabia. Sunrise is not a prescribed prayer; never derive it by adding a fixed hour to Fajr. If a calculator differs from your mosque timetable, inspect the method, location and date before reusing the number. Qibla direction is a separate location-and-true-north calculation.
Why the old URL changed
An older tool showed saved monthly clock values for two cities and reused one city’s values for places without data. That display could mislead someone seeking today’s times, so it has been retired. This page leads to a named timetable source and an official mosque search, while setting clear limits on Tools’ estimate. It does not collect your precise location or choose a city for you.
